Our Pupil Leaders: Shaping Life at Oxley
At Oxley Primary, our Pupil Leaders help shape life at school by taking pride in their roles and working together to make a positive difference. House Captains are at the heart of this leadership, supporting their house teams and encouraging others to follow our values every day. Through their example, pupils develop confidence, responsibility, and a strong sense of belonging within our wider school community.
Our leadership opportunities also include the JLT, where pupils collaborate to listen to others, share ideas, and help improve school life. These roles provide clear job responsibilities, such as representing their peers, contributing to discussions, and supporting initiatives that benefit the whole school. We encourage parents to celebrate these achievements and to talk with their children about what they can learn through leadership, teamwork, and taking care of our school community.
