Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is additional government funding provided to schools to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged children. It is designed to help remove barriers to learning, close attainment gaps and ensure that every child has access to the same opportunities.
At Oxley Primary School, we are committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential. We work to ensure that socio-economic circumstances do not limit achievement and that disadvantaged pupils are supported to meet—and, where possible, exceed—national expectations.
Around half of our disadvantaged pupils also have identified special educational needs. We ensure that their individual needs are understood and supported throughout each stage of their primary education, enabling them to make good progress and achieve to the best of their ability.
Our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement below explains how the funding is used and the impact it has on our children.
